Faculty members in the Faculty of Medicine are encouraged to apply for the Richard & Sylvia Cruess Faculty Scholar in Medical Education, with an approaching application deadline of January 25, 2019.
Organized through the McGill Centre for Medical Education, the goal of this opportunity is to promote excellence and scholarship in medical education by providing a one-year stipend of $15,000 to a faculty member in the Faculty of Medicine, to pursue research and scholarly activity in medical education.
The application package requires a two-page description of what you hope to achieve as a Cruess Faculty Scholar, as well as your proposed topic of research and how you will contribute to the life of the Centre, and a letter of support from your Departmental Chair, among other items.
Previous recipients include Stuart Lubarsky (2015-16), Charo Rodriguez (2013-14), Michelle Elizov (2012-13), and Farhan Bhanji (2011-12).
