The McGill Black Medical Association, with the support of the Office of Admissions, Equity, and Diversity of the McGill University Faculty of Medicine, will be presenting a symposium on pressing issues in healthcare in the black community.

Featuring prominent clinical and scientific authorities on high-impact topics of relevance to members of the black community and diaspora – as well as the general public and the allied healthcare professionals who serve these populations – the panel will present information about, and address questions concerning pressing issues like basic research advancements in population disease, social determinants of health, and disparities in medical services in the Greater Montreal Area.

The panel will conclude with an interactive forum to bridge knowledge gaps and clarify concepts.
