For decades Dr. Suzanne Lamarre has been revolutionizing how families have been treated related to suicide.

Her book Le suicide, l’affaire de tous has just been released and sheds new light on the subject just in time for Suicide Prevention Week.

The psychiatrist at McGill University and former head of the psychiatry department at St. Mary’s Hospital Center from 2004 to 2012, proved that you should not foolishly consider suicide as a mental illness, but rather as an opportunity to “reorganize life with others (family and friends). ”
