McGill Libraries recently announced two leadership appointments at the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering.
Alisa Rod, PhD, has been appointed Head, Liaison Librarian Services.
Rod joined the McGill Libraries in 2020 as Research Data Management Specialist, where she worked closely with researchers across the University, providing consultation, training, and outreach on research data management and related research support services. As Head, Liaison Services, she will lead the Schulich Library’s liaison librarian program and advance Open Science initiatives, strengthening research support, training, and engagement for the communities served by the Library.
Graeme Langdon has been promoted to Library Manager, Schulich Library.
Langdon has been a valued member of the Schulich Library team since it reopened in 2023, playing a key role in the successful planning and launch of the Library’s renewed services and operations. As Library Manager, he will provide leadership for the Library’s lending and access staff and operations, as well as facilities.
Together, these appointments establish complementary leadership for the Schulich Library, with Rod leading liaison librarian and research support services and Langdon leading library operations and access services.
