I am writing to share the news that Patricia Wade, Director of the Office of Accreditation and Education Quality Improvement, will be leaving McGill University on December 23, 2025, to assume a new leadership position.
In January, Patricia will join the Health Standards Organization, part of Accreditation Canada, as Director of Standards.
Since joining the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2018, Patricia has played an important role in strengthening accreditation processes and advancing a culture of continuous quality improvement. Indeed, over the last seven years, her leadership has supported several successful accreditation outcomes, guided us through challenging ones, and fostered collaboration across programs.
I extend my sincere thanks to Patricia for her dedicated service and leadership and wish her every success in this next chapter.
